Score: 100% Best Streak: 14
Has aged well compared to other post-T2 sequels, being the only one set fully in the future w/o a time-travel plot. Biggest problem is the oft-rewritten script which makes both the human & Skynet characters seem really dumb, lacks the strength of its conventions & keeps recycling bits from other Terminator, Aliens, & Mad Max movies. PG13 rating nerfs the level of threat. Bale’s famous onset meltdown serves as an enduring reminder of the production issues. Anton Yelchin’s Reese is the standout.
