The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is one of the most popular, adventurously action-packed, reasonably epic, and very best movies of 2014! The movie stands tall as well being one of the best movies ever made in the 2010’s decade! Despite only a few flaws in terms of the storyline, Peter Jackson still holds his own in the best for last that brings the series to a satisfying conclusion! Widespread acclaim go to the direction, action, visuals, sound, editing, and the cast’s performances!!!!!

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is no different from the two preceding films. Nearly everything was made in computers. The action scenes are stupid. The “love story” is pathetic. Bilbo, the titular character, is sidelined to put Thorin in the spotlight. Yeah, Freeman and McKellen are good, but that goes without saying at this point. But just like before, they can’t save this movie. BotFA made it official—they went full Star Wars prequel.

A disappointing end to an overly long trilogy that suffered from way too much CGI. The real shame is that for a tiny fraction of the budget they could have obtained the film and music rights and done a proper remaster of the classic animated version from 1977.
